Torta

How to Cook TORTA


INGREDIENTS
  • 10 egg yolks
  • 3 ¾ cup all purpose flour
  • 3 ¾ cup cake flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tsp anise seed
  • 9 tsp baking powder
  • 1 flat bottle pork lard
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup water
  • Raisins
  • Margarine
  • Wax paper

UTENSILS
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring glass
  • Mixing bowl
  • Torta Molder
  • Can opener
  • Wire whip
  • Dough cutter
  • Pastry brush
  • Spatula
  • Wooden ladle
  • Sifter

PROCEDURE:
1. Cream the butter, add sugar gradually alternately with egg yolks until light and fluffy
2. Add flour alternately with milk and 1 cup water until well blended. Mix pounded anise seed to battler mixer.
3. Pour 1 flat bottle pork lard, stir and mix thoroughly
4. Measure ½ cup per torta molder line with wax paper
5. Bake until golden brown
6. Brush butter and sprinkle sugar. Set aside
